Kardiri Sibiri Edmond is currently an associate at Sory @ Law. He entered the Ghana School of Law in 2015. He is one of the products of the New Professional Law Course introduced in 2015/2016 academic year in the Ghana school of law. After the one year classroom work, he did three months internship in the Court of Appeal (Kumasi Bench) and three months internship in Sory @ Law before he was called to the Ghana Bar on 6th October 2017. He finished the mandatory period of pupillage and has been licensed to practice.
He holds a Bachelor of Law Degree (LLB) from the University of Ghana (2015), a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.): Integrated Development Studies from University for Development Studies (Wa Campus); 2009 and a Teachers’ Certificate ‘A’ from Tumu Training College; 2002. He also has a Certificate in Microsoft office programmes, internet programmes and Ms DOS from Internet Programming and Monitoring System (IPMC), Tema; 2006.
WORK AND OTHER EXPERIENCES
He started his career as a classroom teacher at the basic school in September 2002. After graduating from UDS and doing National Service as MP research assistant, he went back to the classroom to serve his study leave bond before enrolling at the UG Law Faculty in 2013. He was also elected to the Sissala West District Assembly from 2011 to 2015.
